We have set up DSpace on a platform to create a secure and easy to access place for our institutes work.
The main goal of this project was to store and show the institutes research work including theses and faculty publications.
We put the DSpace system on a cloud server with backup so people can access it easily and it will be safe for a long time.
We also made the repository look like our institute. Set up metadata standards and secure access.
Using the cloud helped us save money on infrastructure. Made it easier to maintain.
Now people can use the repository anytime and, from anywhere.
Now VIPS has a platform that helps people see our academic work and supports open access.
This project shows how schools can use open-source tools and cloud technology to make their digital systems better and help students and teachers do research.
DSpace is a part of this and it helps our institutes research environment.
We are happy that we used DSpace to make our platform.
